Fit:
For the most part, our garments are designed to be form fitting with a slight to fair level of stretch and our sizing system has been calibrated to specifically reflect this. As such, if choosing an option from our standard sizing, we advise reviewing our sizing guide carefully and choosing the size with the measurements that most closely reflect your own direct measurements to ensure the best fit. It is important to note that our sizing guide is divided into two separate body styles – AFAB (curvy body style/classic “women’s” cut) and AMAB (straight body style/classic “men’s” cut) – to better accommodate our customers’ varying needs and fit style. For reference, a size and measurement guide is provided at the end of every garment listing on our website and is also available here. Custom Tailoring:
One of the best features about Mutiny Custom Clothing is that we offer custom sizing and tailoring for almost all of our garments! In order to utilize our custom sizing and tailoring option, you must purchase and schedule one of our video sizing consultations. These 45 minute video consultations are available for a flat fee of $70 USD. However, we will waive the consultation fee with the purchase of a minimum of two garments made via the virtual sizing consultation listing here. That’s right – you qualify for your very own virtual sizing appointment and custom tailoring with the purchase of only two Mutiny Custom Clothing garments! The best part about this process is that we will keep your measurements on record and can custom tailor any future orders for you using those measurements – just pick “Custom Order” when you select your garment size. Pending any atypical design changes or requests, our custom tailoring option becomes a free service once a consultation has been completed.
We at Mutiny stand by our quality and customization. That’s why, should your custom tailored Mutiny Custom Clothing garment not fit properly upon receipt, we are happy to discuss a solution involving further alterations or a replacement. Your satisfaction is our ultimate goal.
Repairs & Replacements:
In our continued efforts to provide flexible service, reduce environmental waste, and retain the highest level of customization possible to our customers, every garment purchased from Mutiny Custom Clothing is hand made to order. We do not maintain a level of 'in stock' inventory at this time. Due these factors, we do not accept returns except in the event of manufacturer defect.
In the event of manufacturer defect, we are happy to make things right by offering to repair or replace the purchased garment free of charge (subject to agreement and approval). Manufacturer defect is defined to include situations where ordered garments are delivered and received with pre-existing defects or defects that are sustained relatively shortly after arrival but before any normal use/wear and tear (example: a seam pops or a strap guide snaps while the piece is being tried on for the first time). Defects may include situations such as the garment not meeting order specifications (what you got is not what you bought!), fabric tears, broken hardware (strap guides, hooks, etc.), and any other similar scenarios.
Should you experience any issues and would like to utilize our repair or replacement option, please submit your request (with photos, please) to tiff@mutinycustomclothing.com . Requests must be received within 14 days after confirmed order delivery of your order.
***Note*** A sizing issue on behalf of the customer does not constitute a manufacturer defect. Complimentary repairs and/or replacements will NOT be made in regards to customer related sizing issues for any garment ordered using our standard sizing . We highly encourage our customers to thoroughly review our sizing and measurement guides before purchasing. Exchanges:
Realize you ordered the wrong size? Changed your mind on the fabric? Did you want to switch up the color blocking? In the event of an ordering mistake, we are more than willing to help in any way that we can to ensure your satisfaction with your purchase. Reach out to us at tiff@mutinycustomclothing.com and we will work with you to find a fix!
Please do not delay in reaching out! It is much easier to fix an issue in the shop rather than after delivery. However, should an ordering mistake not be noticed until after receipt, we are still more than happy to discuss the possibility of an exchange. Please note that worn items will not be considered for exchange, but we are always willing to discuss the possibility of alternative solutions (situation dependent).
Shipping:
Orders placed with Mutiny Custom Clothing typically ship within 10 business days, or two weeks, pending any extenuating or unusual circumstances such as holidays, convention attendances, materials scarcity, etc. Should we anticipate or experience a delay with your order, we will reach to out update you on your order status and updated trajectory. If you have not received a shipment notification for your order after 10 business days, please feel free to reach out and inquire about your order status. We never want you to be left in limbo and wondering where your order is.
Once your order has been transferred to USPS, Fedex, UPS, DHL, or any other applicable shipping service we might utilize, the shipment is then in the sole care of that service and Mutiny Custom Clothing can no longer be held responsible for any issues or damages that occur within transit and/or delivery of your order. In the event that your shipment is lost or damaged, please reach out to us at tiff@mutinycustomclothing.com with confirmation from the shipping service of the lost/damaged status in order to discuss the situation. Even though we cannot be held responsible for your shipment once in the hands of the shipping service, we understand shipping problems DO happen on occasion. We may not always be able to guarantee or offer a replacement, but we would like to work with you towards a solution that offers at least some acknowledgment and/or remedy to the situation.
Fulfillment times from products made by our production partners may vary. However, even with our production partners, you are still welcome to reach out to us with questions regarding your order!
International Shipping:
Mutiny Custom Clothing does ship internationally – typically utilizing Fedex or USPS. We are not responsible for any payment of duties, taxes, and/or VAT (value assessed tax) required to release the shipment to the customer. Please refer to your local postal or shipping service representatives for more information regarding any applicable taxes or fees due.
